What to bring to class (and what to leave home)

A short packing list for every DCF class, from Intro to the SB-003 course.

Bring: a government-issued photo ID, closed-toe shoes, a ball cap, and eye and ear protection (available at the store if you do not own them). For the SB-003 course, bring your Eligibility Card or proof that it is in process.

Firearms arrive unloaded, cased, with no magazine inserted. If you cannot safely unload it, do not transport it — call the store first.

Ammunition: no armor piercing, armor penetrating, steel core, incendiary or tracer rounds on the range. Shotgun: slug and 00 buck only.

Rentals are available for most classes. Handgun and full-auto rentals are 21+.
